Dr Moolman and his team performed a partial nephrectomy on me and successfully removed a malignant tumour. After two nights in hospital I was discharged and only experienced minor discomfort from the operation. 75% of the painkillers prescribed I did not need to take.

I can't express how grateful I am towards Dr Conray Moolman for his exceptional expertise and guidance in performing the recent robotic prostatectomy. My journey began when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer on June 19, with a PSA of 7.7 and a Gleason score of 4. Today, I'm overjoyed to share that my PSA count stands at a negligible 0.003, thanks to doctor Moolman’s unwavering dedication and the 4.5 hours of focused precision during the procedure.
His surgical skills and his tireless commitment to removing the prostate and all malignant tissue are nothing short of remarkable. He and his team have given me a second chance at life, and for that, I owe him eternal gratitude. In my eyes, Dr. Moolman truly stands in a class of his own.

I was referred to Dr Moolman by my GP after a shrewdly assessed suspect PSA result in January 2022 (I have suffered from an enlarged prostate for many years). Dr Moolman saw me promptly after referral, examined me, talked me through the possible implications of the PSA result and recommended/ arranged a detailed MRI which then showed suspicious areas within my prostate. Dr Moolman recommended prompt biopsy and arranged this with his colleague Dr Govender at start of June 2022. This confirmed stage 6 Gleason cancer. Dr Moolman fully explained my options for a RALP or to 'watch and wait' for another year or to consider a consultation with an Oncologist he works closely with.
Having fully discussed all of my options and the desirable timescales for effective treatment, and being absolutely assured by the recommendations of his many RALP patients, I opted to act as early as possible and to have Dr Moolman perform a RALP as soon as possible - in my case October 2022.
Operation went well, margins clear on post op histology, and post op recovery was all that I expected it to be - with excellent detailed advice and guidance notes - plus ongoing support from Dr Moolman and his very efficient and helpful staff.
PSA tests to date have been very promising. Throughout the entire process I had absolutely every confidence in Dr Moolman and his colleagues and staff and felt in the very best of hands.
Whilst I continue regular PSA tests I know that whatever may crop up in the future, Dr Moolman, his RALP support group of former patients and Dr Moolman's colleagues and staff at Kingsbury Hospital will be able to offer me the best possible advice, guidance and treatment. An absolute pleasure dealing with both Dr Moolman and his very capable assistant Jana Thiart. What should have been a somewhat stressful occurrence (fortunately in my case with a good end result) was made so much easier due to the empathetic approach and honest & realistic assessment by Dr Moolman. I was blessed to come across Dr. Conray Moolman, after a recommendation by my urologist. Not only is Dr. Moolman a urologist but he also specialises in robotic surgery for prostate removal, etc...
